Ambercycle Receives $21.6M in Investment
Startup a winner in 2014 Big Bang! competition
AmberCycle, founded by UC Davis College of Biological Sciences alumni Shay Sethi and Moby Ahmed took second place in the 2014 #UCDavisBigBang competition, back when Shay and Moby were undergrads. This year the startup—which converts end-of-life textile ‘waste’ into new yarns for apparel brands and manufacturers—announced a $21.6 million investment.
