Transforming the Parking Industry

Launched as a college homework assignment in 2017, Mathew Magno’s parking technology company Japa Inc. has landed contracts with multiple universities, companies and the city of Woodland. Magno and fellow UC Davis alumnus Charles Chen simplified smart parking with a sensor device that relays in real-time parking availability information to an app. Japa won the UC Davis Big Bang!
