Event Coordinator
Lindsay Lowry is the Events and Operations Specialist at the UC Davis Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Lowry is responsible for addressing many different aspects of operations for the institute, including financial processes, vendor relationships, and coordination with other units to address business needs. She champions process improvements to streamline internal workflow and uses project management approaches to help the institute effectively engage in marketing, outreach and program delivery. She enjoys mentoring and guiding the work of the institute’s undergraduate student employees. Lowry’s passion for event planning and coordination is apparent through the institute’s small- and large-scale events, which create a welcoming environment for attendees to build their networks, learn, and refine business ideas. Her talent for pulling together attractive decor, food and beverage selections, and fun centerpieces and give-aways is always appreciated.
Prior to joining the institute team, Lowry worked at UC Davis in the Primate Center and the Student Advising Office for the Department of Human Ecology.
When she’s not lending her organizational prowess to the institute, Lowry is corralling three dogs and a toddler, visiting Disneyland, or crafting.
