Bio

Jullianne Ballou

Jullianne Ballou is a program manager for the institute, where she organizes business competitions, educational workshops and networking events. Ballou enjoys building relationships with students at UC Davis and UC Davis Health as well as high schools, community colleges and universities throughout California to encourage entrepreneurial learning and moving ideas into action. She also serves as a liaison for staff, faculty and community members and is a valuable resource for information and connection.  

Ballou brings extensive experience managing programs and projects and designing and delivering strategic initiatives that support transformative learning opportunities. In previous roles at UC Davis’s Institute of the Environment, the UC Davis Library, the Harry Ransom Center and  Oxford American magazine, she stewarded multiconstituent projects that focused on climate change, artivism, open-access education and the journalism, fiction and music of the U.S. South. She loves the wine, beauty, and trails of the Sierra Nevada mountains and foothills.
