Discovering the Value of Peer-to-Peer Learning

I've discovered an overlooked aspect of the entrepreneurial ecosystem: the immense value that lies within peer-to-peer learning.

It's natural to seek advice from seasoned investors and advisors, but in doing so, we sometimes miss out on the goldmine of experience our fellow entrepreneurs possess. Our peers are the in the trenches with us, facing the same hurdles, and their insights and experiences are invaluable as we navigate our entrepreneurial paths.

MBA and Ph.D. Candidates Bring Healthcare Innovation to Market

There is no better learning than through experience.

I learned this lesson firsthand in the 2022 Big Bang! Business Competition. Even with my background as an MBA student, I felt that I had to push past my comfort zone to perform in ways I’d never done before.

It’s one thing to hear or learn about an executive summary, customer call or investor pitch presentation. It’s quite another to try to do it well on the first try.

Lessons in Innovation from San Francisco's Mayor

Our day started with quick introductions and getting to know each other in front of Gallagher Hall, home of the the Graduate School of Management.

An Inspiring Conversation with San Francisco's Mayor

A Visit to City Hall

I am a MFA student, graduate teaching assistant and a Keller Pathway Fellow. I was honored to be among the UC Davis students who recently met with a leading innovator in the public service space: San Francisco Mayor London Breed.

I never considered myself an entrepreneur until I discovered this option at UC Davis. As I learned more, I realized that it was the perfect fit for me. I've always been passionate about problem solving and creating things, and entrepreneurship gives me a platform to turn my ideas into something tangible that can make a real difference in the world.
